Project Artefactura presents a series of land art works with subsequent documents. Cubes of the same size from conventional materials: sand, scoria, spruce needles, stone, etc. are placed directly in the natural environment. So, there is almost a pastoral landscape, where an absolutely foreign object is a center of the composition, and it is integrated so deep that its artificiality is not fully understood. The Project reviews the borderline between the natural and the artificial through the example of local geo-phenomena, addressing simultaneously both mimicry and transformation. In a rather typical landscape, it creates a non-natural acute geometric shape similar to a piece of megalithic proto-architecture.
